Chef Hope Sandler

November featured chef. Chef Hope Sandler's
extensive training and
culinary talent combined with her innately
creative vision and ambitious goals make her one
of this region's most innovative chefs.
She has amassed an impressive culinary resume on
her path to becoming a nationally renowned chef,
culinary educator, consultant, and food writer.
Chef Sandler has been at her
trade for
23 yrs. In l997 she received The Greater Seattle
Business Association's prestigious Business Woman of
the Year Award for business excellence and
community service. Currently she provides a diverse
group of culinary services including research and
product development for food companies, catering
and hospitality management, restaurant menu
development and reconstruction, kitchen staff
training, and culinary education teaching strategies.
Her unique culinary vision was formed
during her years growing up on the near-north side of
Chicago. Her Russian immigrant grandmother's
famous feasts were a definite influence on her
cooking in later years. She inherited her love of
cooking from her first generation Jewish-American
mother, and her love of the exotic from her travels.
