How much do you know about Tunisia's external debt? What IS its size? How are interest payments calculated? Does the weight of the debt influence government policies? Why should all Tunisians be involved in this discussion?
The Ibn Khaldun Institute is starting its most ambitious project yet: a comprehensive study of Tunisia's external debt. This initiative shall:
1- Educate the Tunisian community and the public at large on the nature of Tunisia's external debt and on its impact on Tunisians' lives.
2- Develop an objective and thorough analysis of the various components of Tunisia's external debt.
3- Engage both government agencies and private citizens on implementing meaningful and collaborative solutions to managing Tunisia's external debt.
We need your help; all of you. Please get involved in this discussion and contact the Ibn Khaldun Institute today!
Because of the importance of this issue, we created a petition: "The Governments of the United States and Tunisia: Solve the Tunisian External Debt".
Please, read more about what we are trying to do and sign the Petition,
