The small island of Djerba, located off the southeastern coast of Tunisia, is known as the "Polynesia of the Mediterranean", "Djerba the sweet", "Djerba the devoted", among other nicknames.
It had also earned the title of "Island of Dreams". That is because, there, religious co-existence is the norm.
