Cultural Ambassador

TunisianCommunity.orgFounded in February 2010 and headquartered in Jacksonville, FL, the Tunisian American Network (TAN), is a private organization operated by a network of Tunisians and U.S citizens.
 
It aims to promote commercial exchanges between Tunisia and the United States.

The organization strives to achieve its mission "by building strong Tunisian American ties through exposing cultures, resources, opportunities and by promoting social networking" says TAN's founder Zouhaier Hamami.

Thanks to nearly six decades of gender equality legislation inspired by the reformist mouvement of 1920's, women's status in Tunisia nowadays is comparable to that of European women.
 
Remembering Bourguiba

This August 3rd marks the 107th birthday anniversary of the late Habib Bourguiba. It is an opportunity to pay tribute to the Father of modern Tunisia. His legacy is a great source of ethnic pride for Tunisians Americans. "May his flame never die".
