| TUNISIAN-FINNISH CONNECTION |
Mrs Israa Frej, who is of Tunisian descent, is a researcher at Tampere University of Technology (TUT) in Finland.
She is part of a research group in TUT working on a project called "Open Source Software as a Trade and Developement Driver in Developing Countries (OSSTraDe) 2009-2010" that studies free software packages within Tunisian software firms. Read On... |
| A WITNESS IN TUNIS |
Mr Phil Jones is the former president of Friends of Tunisia (primarily former American Peace Corps volunteers). He is also a member of the Tunisian Community Center's advisory board and an editor-at-large for the Community Gazette.
Phil has just published a novel set in Tunis. Written under the nom de plume J.P. Jones, "A Witness in Tunis" describes what happens to an American who inadvertently sees a murder in Tunis and becomes a reluctant witness in a controversial trial.
