Fine 17th, 18th, and 19th Century Antiques

Greetings,
This weekend we will be exhibiting at the Minnesota Antiques Dealer's Show and Sale on Saturday, June 9, 10-6, and Sunday, June 10, 11-4. The show is at the Fine Arts Building, at the Minnesota State Fair Grounds, 1442 Cosgrove Street in St. Paul. We hope to see you there.
As we get ready for this weekend's show,  I thought I should send along some images of new arrivals for your interest.
First, a large 19th century gilt pier mirror in in the Rococo taste and flavored with oriental details.  Scrolls, shell work, piercing, leafage, and fierce dragons, all in gilt, compose this impressive mirror surround. The back side has been very carefully reinforced for successful mounting. H. 70+" , w. 32".
The compote or tazza is a Japanese Imari  variant of unusual form and undamaged. Careful reticulation lightens this form above well drawn polychrome floral decoration. Signed beneath. Late 19th or early 20th century. $195.
The Delft glazed pair are each  9" in diameter. A blue painted rim frames a central cartouche. Condition is typical with minor chips at the rims. 18th century. Diameter 9".
The English punch bowl is 18th century soft paste with a Chinoiserie design in blue on white copied from the Chinese export and done to make English potteries competitive. Minor old rim repair. Diameter 10". height 4". Minor rim repair $220.
If you are in our area, we hope to see you at the MADA show this weekend.

May we answer further questions or provide more detailed images? We look forward to your call or visit. This update provides only partial updates to our collection. we promise new acquisitions for your inspection each week.
