A few important acquisitions here highlight our Holiday offerings. Could one of these become part of the background for your entertaining or a very special gift?
The charming early Italian capriccio is an oil on canvas within an antique but later frame. A capriccio, of course, is defined as "a whim of expression of fancy". It reminds us of Carthaginian views by Vernet and Lorraine. Overall 36" X 56" including framing.
The Boston Sheraton style sofa is of the semi-antique type with the best of marterials and correct design used throughout. It is in a soft gray-blue damask in older but usable condition. Length 76". A promising value at $750.
