Only 13 More Shopping Days Left to Support Operation Christmas Child!
The Sierra Lutheran student body strongly urges members of the SLHS community, as well as the community at-large, to support the school's Operation Christmas Child campaign, organized through Samaritan's Purse, to provide Christmas gifts for underprivileged children around the world.
SLHS is operating a collection center for donations made for boys and girls ranging anywhere from 2-14 years of age. Gifts do not have to be wrapped; however, it is requested that a tag be affixed stating if the gift is for a boy or girl in the following age ranges: 2-4, 5-9, 10-14 years old. Gift suggestions include school supplies, toys, hygiene items, and other miscellaneous items such as t-shirts, socks, ball caps, sunglasses, hair clips, toy jewelry, watches, and flashlights (with extra batteries.) For more information Click Here.
SLHS has a goal of packaging a minimum of 75 boxes. For as little as $1.00 p/day from now until November 17 when SLHS will package and ship the boxes, you can bring joy to a deserving child.
