I'm writing to touch base with you on a couple of quick, but very important, items:
Let me begin by thanking everyone for their prayers for Principal Conner. Her family informs us that she continues to be under a doctor's care; however, they are most appreciative of the care and concern offered by the SLHS community. Rest assured that we will continue to pass along information as it becomes available.
Help SLHS Earn a $5,000 Grant
SLHS is in the hunt for $5,000 educational grant from Raley's. All you have to do is register at the Raley's website and vote once per day through September 23. Start today by clicking (HERE).
Back-to-School Night
Secondly, I would like to remind everyone that we will be hosting Back-to-School Night next Monday, September 12, from 6:30 - 7:45 p.m. The evening will begin with a devotion and plenary session from 6:30 - 6:40 in the gymnasium, followed by classroom visits.
