Dear Valued Sierra Lutheran Community Member:
"Then the LORD came and stood and called as at other times, "Samuel! Samuel!" And Samuel said, "Speak, for Your servant is listening."" 1 Samuel 3:10
The summer season offers many wonderful benefits, including the opportunity for families to reunite, relax, and rejuvenate in anticipation for the coming year. Your Sierra Lutheran faculty and staff are also enjoying these same benefits as they also experience one more "R" - Reflection.
To properly honor the sacrifice you make to send your student to Sierra Lutheran High School, and to honor Christ's atoning sacrifice, SLHS is taking the opportunity this summer to reflect on three primary areas:
1. How well we are serving our families?
2. Does the school's long term strategic plan ensure excellence with respect to Preparing Students for Today, Tomorrow, and Eternity?
3. What resources are necessary to serve our families well, ensure the school's long term success, and develop of the school's physical plant?
To this end, SLHS would like to follow Samuel's lead and "listen" to your thoughts and feedback on a variety of topics through a combination of multiple choice and narrative responses. At the end, you have the option to share your name if you are open to follow-up conversation.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, faculty, and staff of Sierra Lutheran High School, I thank you in advance for your prayerful consideration of this request.
In Christ,
Brian Underwood Executive Director
