Maternity-Advent "Act of Kindness"Project
| As we prepare for the coming of Christ this Advent season, we are reminded of the precious gift of the Holy Family.
Many of today's young mothers face the same challenges as the Holy Family, and are in dire need of shelter, basic amenities, love, and prayer. Their choice for life enables another child of God to be born. Please support these young mothers' choice for life.
Your generous donation will help Maternity Homes
on Long Island:
Regina Maternity Services ( Catholic Charities)
Mother of Good Counsel Home
Bethany House
Momma's House
Catholic students and their families are invited to collect MONEY, METRO, PHONE, and GIFT CARDS for young families.
Christmas cards and greetings are welcome!

PASSING OF NELLIE GRAY, MARCH FOR LIFE FOUNDER, MOURNED BY PRO-LIFE SPOKESWOMAN
| "Today is a sad day in the pro-life movement as we mourn the passing of Nellie Gray, who faithfully devoted herself to the legal protection of the unborn without exception. Through the March for Life, she mobilized millions to protest the injustice of Roe v. Wade and to speak out on behalf of unborn children, who have no voice of their own. While Miss Gray did not see Roe overturned in her lifetime, the movement she helped build - especially its young members - will not rest until the right to life is restored once again. May the angels lead her into paradise!" |
