Summer Mission Teams Serving at the BLC
sor/Partner Trip to the BLC
Our first short-term mission team will be arriving to the Bolivia Life Center orphanage on Friday, June 17. This summer there are four teams serving at the BLC. The first and last teams are Open Teams, which consist of people from different places and churches coming together to serve at the BLC. The second team is the youth group from our partner church in Colombia. This team will have the opportunity to lead worship at the youth service in Bolivia. The third team consists of Life Fellowship Church from North Carolina and Hillside Community Church from Connecticut. Please pray for these teams as they prepare to travel to Bolivia and serve at the BLC and the children at Sidewalk Sunday School this summer.

Nearly 80 people attended the event to hear about the work that CIN is doing around the world. Coffee and Conversations
Would you like the opportunity to share with friends and family about the work that CIN is doing to impact the lives of children? Take part in our Coffee and Conversations opportunity. Invite your friends and family to your home and we will provide you with a short video about CIN, general brochures, and a pound of Colombian coffee to share with your guests. Then you can share with others our mission of impacting children around the world. By introducing your friends to our ministry, you help us grow our family. Maybe they would like to sponsor a child, go on a mission trip or simply make a donation to support our work.

Signs of Healing
at the Colombia Life Center safe house
Much progress has been made in the lives of our first rescued family. In the first five months, a widowed mother of five has received counseling, completed seamstress training and has become an active Sunday School teacher at our partner church. The children are excelling in school, while the older siblings have secured jobs and and are getting back on their feet. Prior to arriving at the Colombia Life Center, this family was in such distress they were impoverished, scared and constantly moving around; fleeing from the guerillas. Now, this same family is rebuilding financial stability and their trust in God. It has been amazing to see how quickly they have found community and love within the congregation of our partner church. God has been working miracles in the lives of this family at the Colombia Life Center safe house.

Bolivia Life Center Update
The Bakery at the Bolivia Life Center orphanage is complete. The boys have been baking bread in the new bakery for over one week and have been able to produce much more than they were capable of previously. The bakery contains a long counter surface with two sinks, a table to prepare and roll the dough, a new oven and a cooling rack for all of the bread. The bakery will be used to bake the bread for breakfast at the BLC as well as to sell in the local market. A special thanks to those who have supported this project and have allowed to boys to learn the life skill of baking in their new bakery.
Preparations for the next life skills workshop have begun. Soon, we will start construction on the New Creations arts and crafts workshop. If you are interested in learning more about or supporting this project, please contact Michelle Shott at michelle@cinonline.org
