Be Part of CIN's first ever Colombia team!
August 5-12
We will be traveling to the busy city of Bogota, Colombia to serve children and widows who have sought refuge and safety at the Colombia Life Center. Like many pastors from rural areas of Colombia - about 3 hours outside the city, the father of the family currently at the Colombia Life Center was murdered by guerilla soldiers who oppose Christianity's anti-viloent teachings. This heroic man's children and wife were left helpless, scared and in distress. Now they are safe at the Colombia Life Center far from the guerilla patrols.
The main focus of this trip will be spending time serving, encouraging and pouring into the lives of the children and widows at the Colombia Life Center safe house. We will also do sidewalk Sunday school and other activities for the children at our partner school.

Giving Challenge Update
As you may remember, we announced a giving challenge from some wonderful friends and partners in our last eLetter update. They helped us start 2011 off strong with gifts and pledges in the amount of $25,000 and a challenge to raise the equivalent amount to help with our greatest needs. We've received 50% of the goal. Will you help us with the last $12,500?

Bolivia Mission Team
Palm Beach Atlantic University
A group of students from Palm Beach Atlantic University graciously gave up their Spring Break to serve at the Bolivia Life Center orphanage. The team consisted of 11 students, 10 of whom had never traveled to the BLC before. The team painted the newly completed bakery, they dug a six-foot hole for a new compost pile, and they laid rocks for the foundation of a new sidewalk at the BLC. They also performed songs and skits at Sidewalk Sunday School for children in local villages. One location was brand new, and it was the first mission team the the group of children had ever seen.

Honduras Mission Team
Palm Beach Atlantic University
We had a wonderful time in Honduras with the Palm Beach Atlantic University team. They did a great job impacting lives in all of the activities and the projects we did. We shared the gospel door to door and we saw lives come to Christ. A church was planted in one community called Renovacion Campesina, and we installed a water filter there. It was so great to see how the men of this community got involved to build up the platform where the containers were going to sit on and to see the happiness and gratitude in the reactions of the kids.
