The regional Holy Conversations sponsored by the Nominating Committee for the election of the 7th Bishop of Lexington will be held at the following times and places:
- Sunday, October 30, 4:30 pm in Covington at Trinity Church
- Sunday, November 6, 4:30 pm in Corbin at St. John's Church
- Sunday, November 13, 4:30 pm in Morehead - Adron Doran University Center
(Commonwealth Room 3rd floor) at Morehead State University
- Sunday, November 20 , 4:30 pm in Frankfort at Church of the Ascension
- Tuesday, November 29, 6:00 pm in Lexington at Christ Church Cathedral
The Nominating Committee is excited to use the successful Holy Conversations model to gather essential information for the Diocese of Lexington profile. The profile will inform the prospective candidates for bishop about the values, challenges, wishes, hopes, and dreams of the people of this Diocese. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend one of these sessions. Come tell the story of the church as you have lived it and help articulate the vision for the Diocese as we all move forward.
You may attend any session that you choose, although pre-registration is necessary. This will be an exciting opportunity to meet people from around the Diocese and hear their stories, so consider attending one of the sessions that might be outside your immediate area.
A simple supper will be served at each location and child care will be available. Youth (high school age) will have a special table(s) reserved for them to participate.
