Sorrow in Our Parish
Maryellen Smicklas Buxton, a member of our parish, passed away on July 14 in Lexington at the age of 89. The Reverend Dominic Moore officiated at a private burial in the Lexington Cemetery on Saturday, July 16. There will be a memorial service on August 2, at 4:00 p.m. at Milward Man O' War, 1509 Trent Blvd. The family requests donations in lieu of flowers to Church of the Good Shepherd Organ Fund . O God, whose mercies cannot be numbered: Accept our prayers on behalf of your servant Maryellen, and grant her an entrance into the land of light and joy, in the fellowship of your saints; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
