Sorrow in Our Parish
Hattie Lou Ward Johnson, mother of Good Shepherd communicants Jim Johnson and Robert Johnson, died peacefully on June 29 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Lexington. She was a 50 year member of this parish. Read her obituary. Visitation will be Friday, July 1, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Milward-Southland. Her funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, at The Church of the Good Shepherd. O God, whose mercies cannot be numbered: Accept our prayers on behalf of your servant Hattie Lou, and grant her an entrance into the land of light and joy, in the fellowship of your saints; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
