Sorrow in Our Parish
Pyddney Jones, parishioner, wife of David Jones, and mother of Will and Kate Jones, died at her home in Lexington on June 5. Her funeral will be at Church of the Good Shepherd on Wednesday, June 8, at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home on East Main Street. O God, whose mercies cannot be numbered: Accept our prayers on behalf of your servant Pyddney, and grant her an entrance into the land of light and joy, in the fellowship of your saints; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
