Sorrow in Our Parish
John S. Humphrey, Jr., father of David Humphrey and grandfather of Wendy Humphrey Van Meter, died on Thursday, April 14, in Louisville. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 18, at St. Edward Church in Jeffersontown, Kentucky.
Katheryn Ann Patterson, sister of Sue Humphrey and aunt of Wendy Humphrey Van Meter, died on Friday, April 15, at the University of Kentucky Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 21, at the First United Methodist Church in Glasgow, Kentucky. Messages of condolence may be sent to David and Sue Humphrey at 5124 Ivybridge Drive, Lexington 40515 and to Wendy Van Meter at 3632 Horsemint Trail, Lexington 40509.
