Sorrow in Our Parish
Genevieve Matthews, 96, mother of Bill Matthews, passed away peacefully at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, April 10th in Vencie, Florida. A Funeral Mass will be held in Sarasota, Florida in May to allow time for one of her grandsons to return from Iraq. Arrangements by Toale Bros. in Sarasota. Messages of condolence may be sent to Bill at 3225 Buckhorn Drive, Lexington 40515.

O God, whose mercies cannot be numbered: Accept our prayers on behalf of your servant Genevieve, and grant her an entrance into the land of light and joy, in the fellowship of your saints; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
