Sorrow in Our Parish
Elizabeth Furlow, mother of Good Shepherd parishioner Dr. Terry Furlow, passed away in Texarkana, Arkansas this morning, January 28, 2011. Arrangements are pending with Texarkana Funeral Home, Texarkana, Arkansas. Mrs. Furlow's funeral will be at St. James' Episcopal Church in Texarkana, Texas. She will be buried beside her husband at Arlington National Cemetery. Please pray for the repose of her soul and remember the Furlow family in your prayers.

O God, whose mercies cannot be numbered: Accept our prayers on behalf of your servant Elizabeth, and grant her an entrance into the land of light and joy, in the fellowship of your saints; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
