Sorrow in Our Parish
Angie Denny, died yesterday, January 4, 2011 at Richmond Place, Lexington. Her funeral will be at Church of the Good Shepherd on Saturday, January 8, at 2:00 p.m. with a reception following in the Undercroft. Please keep Angela, her daughter, and her son, Jamie, and all of Angie's family in your prayers.

O God, whose mercies cannot be numbered: Accept our prayers on behalf of your servant Angie, and grant her an entrance into the land of light and joy, in the fellowship of your saints; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Almighty God, Father of mercies and giver of comfort: Deal graciously, we pray, with all who mourn; that, casting all their care on you, they may know the consolation of your love; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. |
