The mills has been attracting new commercial tenants; each company with a unique story and profile. We are busy creating the new manufacturing space and showroom for Independent Fabrication and BaileyWorks. Avid cyclists from around the world will travel to Newmarket to have a custom bike built to their specific body measurements - follow the IF blog for more about the bikes and the development of their space at Newmarket Mills. The journey would not be complete without picking up an original Bailey Bag - the over the shoulder "bike courier" bags - well made for work, cycling, style, recreation and travel. 

Phase 1 of the apartments will include 38 new residences, on the 3rd and 4th floors of Buildings N and N1, on Main Street. The apartments will range in size from 515 to 1300 square feet. There will be a mix of studios, one and two-bedroom units. Heat and hot water will be included, as well as WiFi and washer/dryer hookups (there will also be shared laundry facilities with vending machines and socializing space for those who prefer). There will be fitness facilities and shared outdoor and indoor community space for gatherings with friends. There will also be bike and kayak storage available. Prices will start in the low $700's to $1,200+ for the studios/one bedrooms. Two bedrooms apartments will start at just over $1,000.

Newmarket Lobby

We anticipate opening a furnished model  in September for future residents to get a feel for the historic architectural details, light, and views. Leasing of Newmarket apartments will begin in September, for occupancy in December/January. We will start to release floor plans in our next newsletter.  We are leasing commercial space now.
