Thomas Built Buses Achieves Zero-Waste-to-Landfill Company's Sustainable Manufacturing Practices Reduce Its Environmental Impact
Zero-Waste-to-Landfill means that everything received or produced by the company is used, reused, recycled or sold, and nothing is sent to the landfill. Using the company's Truck Operating System (TOS) continuous improvement program, Thomas employee teams identified the best options for reducing waste and recycling each material, whether reusing cartons for shipping, reclaiming solvent, working with supplier partners to reduce packaging or turning waste into energy.

Meet the Team
| | Jerry on the winning team! |
Jerry Anderson, our Parts Manager, knows everything there is to know about bus parts and then some! He's been in the business for more years that I can count. We're fortunate to have him running the parts department at TTG. When he's not working, he's spending time with his family & breeding/raising retreiver pups for sale. Jerry is a huge Twins fan and can be seen at many of the home games rooting on his team. Give Jerry a call, ask him a bus parts question and see if you can stump him! Chances are good you'll get the answer you need. |
