Dear
Greetings! The hot summer is finally here, we hope you will be able to stay cool this summer! This is a picture of the center building from the Balcones drive, just in case you will be visiting the center, we do not have the exterior building sign yet but hopefully we will before the year end. Click here for directions. For the second half of 2011, the newsletter will be sent out quarterly so the next one will be due in fall in October. June was another great month to experience growth, special thanks to our members and practitioners for their continued support and commitment, I am deeply grateful for this life. Our second Community Healing Day for the year was held in June and we managed to raise and donate another $165, making our donation todate, $1045 to Mobile Loaves & Fishes since June 2010. Thanks to our visitors and practitioners for their contribution. We are hoping that you will be able to join us and help us to raise a lot more on our next CHD on Sept 24th. Please check out the agenda for the day as we have great practitioners lined up to serve you, first come/reserved, first served, so advance reservations are recommended. If we all worked towards these goals but in our own individual way locally, in any way we can, we would surely get there eventually globally! I often like to remind myself of the quote by Oliver Wendell Holmes, "The greatest thing in this world is not so much where we are, but in what direction we are moving."
Tomorrow is new moon on July 1st, it is time for sunrise vision meditation. We will also kickstart the second half of 2011 by joining LoveATX Interdependence Fest on July 3rd at Austin Art & Music Partnership this Sunday . It is very exciting time to be living in Austin, Texas and we hope you can visit us there. We will be open on July 4th all day and you are welcome to join us for 10am, 4pm or 6pm class on Monday.
Aikido classes will continue every Monday and Thursday evening with beginner class starting at 7:30pm and advance class starting at 8:30pm. Children are welcome. Dahn Yoga class schedule remains unchanged except that we have adjourned the outdoor class at Town Lake for the summer and will resume in September. Friday 4pm class, deep stretching with Brain Wave Vibration, Jung choong breathing and meditation is a great way to unwind and rejuvanate yourself for the weekend, so please join us! Free trial class special is still being offered for the month of July. If you wish start, call the center to schedule your intro session or schedule your intro session here online. If you have already done the intro session you can sign up and reserve classes online here.
See Announcements below for other variety of upcoming exciting classes and programs at ACHHY. We now also have beautiful Natural healing stone/crystal jewelry available to purchase from the center. Contact or visit the center for more details. |
