Volunteer Orientations
The final Volunteer Orientations before the first Accessible Saturday of the season is this weekend. If you are interested in volunteering with our accessible sailing programs this season, please be sure to register for the volunteer orientation on Saturday March 31st.
The orientation is a brief synopsis of expectations and polices of the DSC. Everyone who volunteers for accessible and outreach events need to attend one orientation before they volunteer. Also every outreach and accessible volunteer must complete a background check.

Work Party
All hands on deck! This Saturday March 31st, is going to be a huge work party to get the DSC day and dinghy fleet through major preparations for the 2012 season. We need anyone who is available to come down and lend a hand across our docks, containers and boats. Register now so we can prepare important tasks for everyone!

Donate Today!
Spring is a busy time at the Downtown Sailing Center. This is the time of year where we get our fleet back in order for another season. There are checklists, triage lists, safety inspections, inventories and spring cleanings. Needless to say, there is an awful lot that needs to get done.
Safety is always our top priority here at the sailing center. Because of this we are replacing our aging and expired first aid kits for our day sailing fleet. You can help.
By sponsoring a first aid kit you can ensure that we are able to respond to minor injuries and keep our members and participants safe. Sponsorship is easy. Just click over to the donation page of the Downtown Sailing Center and make a donation of at least $15 dollars to the fleet and facility fund.
First aid kit sponsors will receive a thank you letter and recognition on the first aid kits in appreciation for their support.
