Boat Manager Work Party

Saturday, November 12 - 9:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.

This Saturday we will have the first Volunteer Boat Manager work party. The boat assignments will be given this Saturday for those who signed up, and if you're interested in becoming a Volunteer Boat Manager you can attend as well.

We will focus on rigs and hardware this weekend, starting by working on the rigs on the storage racks. We will go through each rig and identify what is good and bad and then go down to the boats and do an inspection based on what we learned. There will also be some other facility projects that we will try to knock out while everyone is here.

Cruising Winterization Work Party

Saturday, November 12 - 10:00 A.M. 

Gary Page is leading the charge on winterizing some of the cruisers. Freezing temperatures and constant sun exposure are detrimental to a boat sitting in storage, so we fully decommission the boat to avoid damage. If you are interested in learning how to winterize a boat, Gary will be showing how to drain tanks, winterize motors, fill pipes with antifreeze, and protect against UV damage.
