Last week we announced the launching of the new DSC website. The functionality of the site far outpaces what the DSC has had in the past and we believe it will dramatically improve the information we can convey to the public and our members.
You may have noticed the new calendar that allows you to register for upcoming courses and special events. We have begun populating the calendar and encourage you to explore and register for our upcoming offerings.
First up on the list is our winter frostbite racing series (registration is required) and the DSC Holiday Bash at Little Havana.
Both events are low key opportunities for you to stay connected with the DSC family this winter as well as a good excuse to explore the new site.
A very special THANK YOU to those "early adopters" of the new system who have taken the time to join and register.
We recognize that there are still a few kinks to work out and we appreciate your understanding as we develop the site. We've resolved most errors reported so far, but there are outstanding known issues and most likely some problems that have not been reported as of yet.
It is expected that there will be weekly changes and improvements to the site. You can help us reach our goal of having a site that works well for all users and provides the highest value by testing the public sections of the site, joining and testing the member only sections of the site and providing feedback. Special note for skipper level members:
We are working out the bugs for connecting to our boat reservation system. If you are interested in reserving a boat in the month of December, please call the office and we will manually enter your reservation.
