Meet Lauren Van Osten!

Lauren
Lauren joined The I.D.E.A. Store Team as an intern in the Fall 2010 to learn about non-profits and management and contribute to her skills as a leader.  Lauren joined us again as a "super intern" for this past spring semester working for the organization about 16 hours a week for class credit and experience.

We are really going to miss her as she graduates this week from the University of Illinois in Communications and moves to Texas taking on two internships there in the non-profit world and carrying with her the knowledge she has gained from us!  Lauren has helped in so many aspects of running the operations its hard to know where to begin to tell you of the fantastic work she has provided!  This past semester, Lauren's official job was "Social Media Director" and with that she developed this newsletter, wrote the blog, kept us alive on Facebook, wrote press releases, and generally got the word out to you!  She has also helped us tirelessly sorting, pricing, designing new features, meeting with the Team, lifting, carrying, checking-out and being there whenever she was needed.

We have shared so many laughs and good times, her smile in the store will be missed.  We wish her the best of luck in all she does and hope she will remember The I.D.E.A. Store as a launching pad for her many soon-to-be successful endeavors!

THANK YOU Lauren!
