Cleburne Sheet Metal's new line of sustainable products enabled PGAL Architects to achieve LEED Gold Status on their design of the new Air Terminal Facility for the City of Arlington, Texas.

This new facility also won a prestigious TxDot Award for being the "2011 Reliever Airport Facility of the Year".  With an increase in jet traffic of 40% over the past year, the new facility came on line in time for the 2011 Super Bowl, Cotton Bowl and Major League Baseball World Series.

Each of the new products by Cleburne Sheet Metal used in this  facility offer sustainable energy savings through the use of recyclable aluminum materials. The new Elite Series Sunshade Systems  provide a distinctive architectural signature, and save energy by redirecting and deflecting sunlight.  Additional energy cost savings are afforded by the reduction of summer heat gain while allowing natural lighting to reduce energy costs.

LEED credits may be obtained when these products are used,  since the each is made from 100% recyclable aluminum, and locally manufactured. Additional LEED credits are available when Cleburne Sheet Metal ACM systems utilize coatings or finishes which comply with LEED requirements.
