Promote Your Business

The Power of Networking Leads to Powerful Networthing

This is Rosie Red, here to tell you that the best way to increase your net worth is to increase your network. People are always more likely to do business with those they have met or trust.

If you don't have a networking function to attend, make your own. Or come to ours! The Downtown Tweet-Up August 24, 5pm at Kia-Ora is a great way to make connections, start tweeting, or add to your existing Twitter contacts. We'll be having discussions about Downtown Red Deer, marketing, events and not-so-important stuff too. So come and interact. If you're not that social, not to worry, it's socially acceptable to stare at your phone all night at a Tweet-Up!

LEIGHA GRAF PHOTOGRAPHY
Leigha Graf Photography

A local photographer passionate about family and story telling is making her new business home in the heart of the city. Downtown Red Deer is growing and Leigha Graf is thrilled to be a part of helping enhance an already supportive and collaborative trading community. Leigha's enthusiasm for connections and community inspired her to move into the historic Scott Block building where she can be a part of the vibrant city core. "There is a strong relationship among the business in Red Deer, especially downtown. I feel so thankful to be part of such a welcoming network," notes Leigha. "I am looking forward to taking a more active role in helping to shape our community."

Family is Leigha's first priority and has spent the last 8 years focusing solely on raising her two boys. Over the time frame, she fell in love with photography and started her business in 2009. Photography has become a way to reflect on so many things she is grateful for, and she loves to share that feeling with others. Preceding the start of her own family, Leigha was an event planner and worked for Westerner Park and Edmonton's Northlands Park. READ MORE
