Promote Your Business

Event Marketing

Downtown is a community like none other. Involving yourself in that obviously translates into great business leaps for your company.

In the events season, try a sponsorship tailored to your values, with a specific marketing focus. It builds partnerships, gets maximum exposure for you and your brand, and helps others out.

Be creative in asking for what you want, and don't wait for non-profits or other events to approach you. Be proactive and get other organizations advertising on your behalf with maximum return on investment. It really works!

We got people out of their boring offices and into La Casa Pergola, Kia-Ora, Vietnamese Sub and Rolls, The Indian Flame and Grill, The Ross Street Café, Saro's, City Roast, Bistro on Gaetz, The Millennium Café, Quenched, and Botanica in the Red Deer Lodge through our Time For Lunch Campaign running throughout the month of May.

The campaign saw many happy winners as we gave out $1000 worth of free food in gift certificates! We thank the Red Deer Advocate for their extensive coverage of our participating restaurants, featured three times on the cover of the Life Section, as food writer Madhu Badoni food toured Time for Lunch.

Happy Anniversary Housewarmings!

The Red Deer Downtown Business Association extends congrats and wishes to all businesses celebrating recent milestones.

Many mainstays in the heart of the city make Downtown Red Deer an attractive destination, not just a place to buy goods.

Some recent anniversaries we know of include The Bistro on Gaetz, Mitchell & Jewell, and Housewarmings. Congrats to these and all other businesses making our Downtown "the place to be" in our city.

Design and Innovation

A faded velvet couch sits in the back. An elegant chandelier dangles while beautiful gold frames showcase works of art. In this impeccably designed studio, Lindsey Johnson of Lindsey Johnson Design Co creates stunning spaces, both architectural

and interior. Studying interior design at Mount Royal College, Lindsey realized the value of architectural design and quickly enveloped that into her skill base. Lindsey is an experienced designer; however, she's an entrepreneurial newbie, starting her business in June 2012. She cites that it is her passion for all types of design that drives her to do what she does. "I love beautiful spaces. I am forever looking at spaces and wondering what can be made better." A self-proclaimed "softie" for older residential neighborhoods, her choice projects would include older home renovations and additions.

Lindsey opened her business doors in Red Deer's downtown in the Scott Block Heritage building. Downtown seems to fit Lindsey's  goals and vision, as well as her personality. She loves the atmosphere and the revitalization of downtown.  READ MORE HERE
