Church Fellowship Dinner
 Get ready for a Chili Cook-off on Sunday, October 28th. We will still have services that evening from 6 to 6:45 p.m. and will meet in the Family Life Center afterwards for a time of fun, fellowship, and delicious chili. If you are interested in participating in the Cook-off by bringing a pot of chili, please sign up at the Information Center. More details to come soon! |
Men's Retreat
 Men, are you ready for a weekend with just the guys? Next week is our Fall Men's Retreat. It will be held at Tenkiller State Park in Oklahoma from Friday, October 19th through Sunday, October 21st. You can sign up at the Information Center. The $40 registration fee will cover two nights of lodging, three meals and unlimited entertainment. If you choose to attend the Friday night meal only, the cost is $10. You can visit our church website to learn more! |
Men's Golf
 The next outing of the Men's "Butter" Cup Golf League will be held on Saturday, October 27th at the Wolf Ridge Golf Course in Poteau, Oklahoma. Tee time is 9 a.m. The cost to participate is $50, which includes lunch. Please sign up and pre-pay at the Information Center. |
Wednesdays On Purpose
 Join us for our weekly Wednesdays On Purpose series. We have several classes available for you to choose from: Divine Healing 101 with Rev. Kevin and Verna Belt (WC 321), Guardrails with Rev. Marty Cluck (WC Sanctuary), Dream Marriage with Doug and Karen Faries (WC 323), The Invisible War with Pastor Ryan Rose (WC 325), and Old Time Gospel Hour facilitated by David Dewitt (WC 311-Choir Room). | Trunk or Treat
This year we will be doing a "Trunk or Treat" on Halloween night. We need YOUR help to make this event a success. We are looking for individuals who would like to decorate their vehicle trunk and pass out candy on Wednesday, October 31st from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. (You provide your own candy). Volunteering is a great excuse to dress up in a costume (but not required) and enjoy being a kid again! Please remember this is a church event and we ask that you do not decorate with scary content. There are other ways you can volunteer to help if you do not wish to decorate a trunk: Concession stand, security team, parking lot attendant or cleanup crew. Please sign up at the Information Center if you are able to help in any of these areas.

| Young at Heart
If you are 55 years of age or older then you will not want to miss out on the upcoming October Fellowship Night. Don and Phyllis Saffell invite you to join them at their home (36 Vista Hills Blvd, Van Buren) for chili dogs and s'mores on Friday, October 26th at 6 p.m. There will also be a prize awarded for the costume contest winner! Please sign up at the Information Center by October 24th and let us know what you will be bringing. We need chili, hot dogs, buns, crackers, Fritos, a dessert or fixin's for the s'mores.
