Step Up, Speak Out

Did you know that in 2011 there were 2,568 child abuse investigations in Sebastian and Crawford Counties? Leaders in our area have united to create an initiative called "Step Up, Speak Out! A Rally to End Child Abuse." Butterfield Church will be joining efforts with the Van Buren Police Department, Crawford County Sheriff's Department and the Morgan Nick Foundation to provide education and awareness to our congregation and community about these important issues. Make plans to be here on Wednesday, April 25th at 7 p.m. to learn more information about what you can do to help prevent child abuse and what to look for. These organizations will also do a presentation for our youth and children on May 2nd and 9th. We also encourage you to attend the "Step Up, Speak Out" event at UAFS on Saturday, April 28th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. You can search for the "Step Up, Speak Out" page on facebook.com to learn more.

Power & Love Conference

Butterfield Church has the opportunity to come together with several other spirit-filled churches to bring the Power & Love Conference to Van Buren this summer. At this time, co-sponsoring churches include Heritage United Methodist, Harvesters Fellowship, Jubilee Christian Center and Faith Christian Fellowship in Rogers, AR. This school exists to equip and train believers how to flow in the gifts of the spirit in every day life. Attendees will have the opportunity not only to be trained and taught but also to engage in doing the work of the Kingdom.  This conference is all about "making a difference OUTSIDE the four walls of the Church". There will be four days of intensive training, preparation to go outside the walls of the church with the power of God to practice what you've learned after each session. Registration is $60.00 before the June 13th deadline. After June 13th, registration is $80.00.  This includes sessions beginning Wednesday morning, July 11th and ending Saturday evening, July 14th. Sign-up at the Information Center. Check out the promo video below for more information.
