 Flip'd
 6 Weeks     6 Men 
 
Powerhouse & Preschool are teaming up to get Flip'd for God. For the next 6 weeks your children will learn of 6 men whose lives were flip'd upside down by God. Pastor Jimmy & Mrs. Dixie are asking that the kids flip their lives for God by flipping their clothes backwards, inside out or both. Please no undergarments on the outside of clothes. Parents are encouraged to do the same in support of your children, if you dare.

 Kidz Blitz

It's that time of the year again! Kidz Blitz is just around the corner and we are asking for your help. We are now accepting table sponsors for $35.00. The table sponsors will have their name on one of the game tables the night of Kidz Blitz.
We also will have donation barrels located in the Family Life Center foyer and the Children/Youth Center foyer. Individually wrapped candy can be placed in these barrels for the kids to receive at Kidz Blitz.
 
Kidz Blitz will be Sunday evening, October 31st at
6 p.m. on the gym floor. This will take place of our evening service.
Deadlines:
 
Deadline to sign-up for Young at Heart Halloween Costume Contest on October 15th is Wednesday, October 6th.
 
Deadline to sign-up for Men's Golf League on October 16th is Wednesday, October 13th.
 
Deadline to sign-up for Water Baptismal on November 7th is Sunday, October 17th.
Missions Sunday 
 

One of the most important Sundays in 2010 is coming up on 10-10-10 at 10 a.m.! It's our Missions Emphasis Sunday and we are so pleased to have our General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God with us as our special guest speaker that morning. Dr. George Wood will be speaking and man is he fantastic! If you haven't heard him, you are in for a real treat! Make plans to be in attendance.

All Children's classes will be provided. However, there will be no Sunday School. We will still have our regularly scheduled evening service.
Ministry Connection
 
Make plans to attend our Ministry Connection Class this Sunday at 5:15 p.m. in Room 104 of the Family Life Center. This class is designed to get newcomers acquainted with the ministries that Butterfield has to offer. There are plenty of opportunities for you to get plugged into.
 
Childcare is provided for infant through 5th grade in the following locations:
 
Infant - 1 year olds: Room 320 in the Worship Center
2 year olds - 3 year olds: Room 310 in the Worship Center
4 year olds - 5th grade: Room 106 in the Family Life Center
Secret Keeper Girl Live 
 
Join us for a Pajama Party! Mothers & daughters are invited to attend the Secret Keeper Girl The Pajama Party Tour on Tuesday, October 12th at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $12.00 each and can be purchased at the Information Center or in the church office.

Godspeed Car & Bike Show

Cars, food, music and much more! Saturday, October 16th from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. we will have our first annual Godspeed Car & Bike Show.  If you would like to register a car, the fee is $15.00 for the first car and $12.00 for each additional car. Registration forms are located in the Information Center and in the church office.

Soul'd Out Quartet 
 
Special guests Soul'd Out Quartet will be performing Sunday, October 17th in the evening service. This group of men have a diverse ministry that will appeal to young and old alike. Don't miss out!

This is a great time to finish up your Christmas shopping. Several vendors will be set up on the gym floor offering everything from jewelry to custom made name frames. Grab your purse and head to the church for this fun, Christmas shopping experience.
 
Community Thanksgiving Service
November 17th at 7 p.m. at the Van Buren Fine Arts Center
 
Join us for this special service where we come together with other local churches and give thanks for all that God has done in our lives.

Christmas Spectacular 2010

We will have our annual Christmas Spectacular that will feature our Nursery, Preschool and Powerhouse children as well as Blaze52 youth and Safe Haven Adult Choir. You are guaranteed to laugh, cry and reminisce.
