Many of you noticed Sunday morning that the Van Buren Police were in the neighborhood and were pulling people over for speeding. We do not wish to give the wrong impression of what was taking place. Several compaints were received by the Van Buren Police Department about our congregation speeding through the neighborhood to get to church on Sundays. They were simply doing their job. Pastor has asked that everyone be mindful of their speed when coming to church. Butterfield wants to continue to be a blessing to the community and obey the laws that are set by our government. If you do happen to get pulled over, please remember that you are representative not only of Butterfield but of Christ as well.

 

The 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament will be held this Saturday, March 13th at 8:00 a.m. in the Family Life Center. There is a $100 entry fee. Tournament champions receive four Oklahoma City Thunder tickets. Enter the 3 point shootout for $10 and the first place winner receives two Oklahoma City Thunder tickets. Rev. Ron Kelley will be our special guest speaker for this Sunday morning. He and his wife Paula are such a blessing to Butterfield and we are honored to have them not only to preach Sunday morning but also to be a part of our "Remembering the Legends of Southern Gospel" concert Sunday evening. You are sure to be blessed by what God has placed on his heart to share with Butterfield.

This group is based in Ohio but have performed all over including the National Quartet Convention. You will enjoy their young, energetic sound that pleases all ages. Come early to get a seat as the concerts tend to be packed.

 

 

 

 

Join us immediately following the "Remembering the Legends of Southern Gospel" concert for a Soup Dinner to help send Powerhouse kids to Dry Gulch Camp this summer. Chicken Noodle Soup and Cheesy Potato Soup will be offered along with a great selection of breads and desserts. Yum!
