New Workers Comp Law Eff. Jan. 1st  

There is a new law (AB 2774) that took effect on January 1^st that makes it much easier for Cal/OSHA to impose fines and charge employers for the full amount - no more  negotiating the settlement of fines for a greatly reduced amount. Cal/OSHA's

biggest target will be employer with non-existent or outdated workplace safety programs.
