Celebrating Sukkot with the Bnei Menashe

In the spirit of Sukkot - the feast of Tabernacles - which began this week around the Jewish world - we have put together a special video montage of the Bnei Menashe celebrating the holiday in India. 

During Sukkot, Jews eat and sleep in temporary dwellings, recalling the 40-year sojourn of the Israelites in the desert. For the Bnei Menashe, the holiday also symbolizes their longing to take that next step as a community, moving from a transitory stay in India to a new life in the land of Israel.
