Bnei Menashe making aliyah: Meet Ruth Ngaijalhing Lhungdim
The next in our series of profiles of Bnei Menashe who will soon be making aliyah is with Ruth Ngaijalhing Lhungdim. Here is her story.
Ruth Lhungdim and her family
My name is Ruth Ngaijalhing Lhungdim. I am 55-years-old and a member of the Beit Shalom Jewish Community of Churachandpur in Manipur, India.
I earn a livelihood as an entrepreneur in my hometown with my four younger children helping me, as you can see in this picture. My three older children have already made aliyah to Israel. Two are married and the third is completing a computer-based technical training course. It is my fervent prayer and hope for our family to be reunited in Israel and thus to pursue our dreams in the Promised Land.
