Citizen Schools Completes it SharePoint 2010 Migration With MetaVis

 Citizen Schools, an educational non-profit, has completed it migration to SharePoint 2010 with the help of the MetaVis Suite. Citizen Schools SharePoint-based Intranet had grown out of control and the release of SharePoint 2010 gave Citizen Schools an opportunity to redesign and reorganize their SharePoint infrastructure. With MetaVis, Citizen Schools designed SharePoint 2010 to include taxonomies and metadata and make content easily searchable and usable. MetaVis Expands SharePoint 2010 Support to Term Stores and Data Sets |
MetaVis has expanded its support for SharePoint 2010 to include specific 2010 features such as Term Stores and Document Sets. By supporting specific SharePoint 2010 features, MetaVis helps users take full advantage of the SharePoint 2010 functionality and plan and/or execute a 2010 migration strategy.  The Term Store Manager in the MetaVis Suite allows users to browse SharePoint 2010 term stores and copy term hierarchies, term sets or entire groups of terms between SharePoint servers. It also allows users to reorganize terms. This dramatically simplifies the maintenance of term sets across multiple SharePoint 2010 server farms and the ability to organize them. MetaVis also supports Document Sets in SharePoint 2010 sites as any other native SharePoint object allowing users to copy Document Sets between SharePoint 2010 sites. This makes it easy to copy data using specific SharePoint 2010 features between SharePoint 2010 sites. |
