Solmetric PV Designer Release

Solmetric is pleased to announce the release of PV Designer Software, a tool to help you make better solar designs in less time. It is designed for helping you lay out modules on a roof and estimate performance in a partially shaded environment. Results are corrected for the impacts of partial shading, using your Skylines from the Solmetric SunEye™. The software is designed for residential and smaller commercial systems of 15kW or less. Solmetric PV Designer Software is a licensed module within the Solmetric SunEye's Desktop Software, Version 3.0 or higher, which can now be downloaded from www.solmetric.com/support.html. PV Designer is accessed through the Desktop Software. To operate, the PV Designer requires a SunEye session to be loaded and active. When the PV Designer is first run (from the Session menu of the SunEye Desktop Software), an option is presented to either purchase the software or to start a 30-day free trial. To purchase an annual subscription, you can follow the instructions in the software to place the order on line and then to activate the software.
