Hampton Roads Chapter
December 14, 2009
Greetings!

Good Morning,

I'd like to take a moment to thank you sincerely for your support of our Chapter and organization! I hope this finds you and yours doing well.

We'd like to extend a sincere thank you to the volunteers who helped sort holiday cards on Friday, December 11th and I sincerely apologize to those who wanted to sort cards but didn't have the opportunity to participate as we wrapped up earlier than expected.

Also - a great thanks is extended to those who volunteered for our Day of Giving at Wal-Mart (Jefferson Ave.) and Bingo on Saturday.  We understand how busy this time of year is for many.  Thanks for sacrificing time with family to help.

If you're interested in becoming a disaster services volunteer, please note, we are offering several Mass Care:  An Overview courses this week.  If you've completed a Fulfilling Our Mission course, this is the next course in the series.  (Please see the training calendar to the left).

I sincerely wish you a beautiful and safe week.  Please read on for information on a variety of opportunities.

Respectfully,

Dawn Roberts

Volunteer Coordinator
