Community Connections

Congratulations graduates!  I would also like to acknowledge all the family members, friends and teachers that supported, encouraged, taught and influenced their accomplishments.

Let's all take a trip back in time to our own graduation.  Take a moment to remember what it was like when you graduated high school or college.  Maybe you also completed a certificate program or a career designation.  What was the feeling associated with your accomplishment?  What was your experience having greater possibilities opened up for you?  Along with the excitement, you probably also experienced some fear, concern or confusion about what was next.

What you have probably found as you moved through life is that the elation of an accomplishment can be short lived.  The sobering reality is that you have really just begun.  One more time, in an instant, you are on shaky ground.

The gap between what is and what's next is what I call the journey.  Regardless of where you are in life it usually seems like there is always that fear or confusion about what's next even if you aren't a recent graduate.  So much so, that it often keeps us stuck form moving forward on our original goals or dreams.  Have you ever had that experience?  I sure have.

One thing for sure is that you will always be a student of life.  I invite you to consider a support structure along the way in your continued learning,  integrating, moving, navigating. coordinating and negotiating the many twists and turns associated with this journey we call life.

I hope you will join me on this journey.  Let's co-create the future!!!  I want to be your partner in possibilities in Your Next Step!

Love & hugs,

Coming events not currently on the calendar:

You will soon be receiving an invitation to opt into a prerecorded interview.  Please check it out when you see it in your email inbox.  Even though Doug Hoyt and I talk about why diets don't work in this interview, some of the same obstacles show up as an inability to move forward in other areas of one's life.  This is the first of a series we have planned.  After the health, body and well-being interview, we will be doing a live interview on Relationships.  Stay tuned for details.

Should you choose to opt out of the original offer, you will also be opted out of all future interviews with Doug and I.  I invite you to consider the series as another opportunity and exploration into creating a life you love.

I hope you will join me on this journey.  Let's co-create the future!!!  I want to be your partner in possibilities in Your Next Step!

24 Things to Always Remember...
and One Thing to Never Forget

Your presence is a present to the world.
You're unique and one of a kind.
Your life can be what you want it to be.
Take the days just one at a time.

Count your blessings, not your troubles.
You'll make it through whatever comes along.
Within you are so many answers.
Understand, have courage, be strong.

Don't put limits on yourself.
So many dreams are waiting to be realized.
Decisions are too important to leave to chance.
Reach for your peak, your goal, your prize.

Nothing wastes more energy than worrying.
The longer one carries a problem, the heavier it gets.
Don't take things too seriously.
Live a life of serenity, not a life of regrets.

Remember that a little love goes a long way.
Remember that a lot...goes forever.
Remember that friendship is a wise investment.
Life's treasures are people...together.

Realize that it's never too late.
Do ordinary things in an extraordinary way.
Have health and hope and happiness.
Take the time to wish upon a star.

And don't ever forget...for even a day... how special you are.
