Greetings!

Thank you for your interest in the ASHRAE Addenda Review session last Wednesday, August 26.  In case you missed it, below is information on how to get a copy of the presentation and another opportunity to participate in a live webinar by the IALD.
 
In addition, please note a change in code compliance requirements by the NYC Department of Buildings.

ashraeShare Your Addenda Comments Deadline - Saturday, Sept 12
If you are interested in submitting your addenda comments for support by others, please submit directly to msalzberg@nyclc.info by Sept 12.
 
On Sept 15th the NYCLC will post a web site to review comments by others and Add Your Electronic Signature in support of proposed comments. Your Electronic Signature will then be returned to their authors for posting on the ASHRAE Public Review website*.
 
 
* The deadline for submitting addenda comments directly on the ASHRAE Public Review website is 28 September 2009.
 
IALD Webinar: Learn How to Effectively Comment on ASHRAE 90.1 Addenda
IALDWednesday, 9 Sept, 3pm
If you missed the live August 26th presentation in New York, Marty Salzberg, Chad Groshart and Michael Mehl have volunteered to repeat that successful outing for a live webinar audience. 
  
Attendees will learn how to comment effectively on the Addenda, how the ASHRAE Committee created the addenda, what supporting materials have been used in creating the addenda, and what we can expect to happen in the near future after comments are received. More Information
 
NYC Code Compliance Alert
NYCNew Requirements by the NYC Department of Buildings
The NYC Buildings Department will begin auditing New Building and Alteration applications for ECCCNYS (New York State Energy Code) compliance and, when appropriate, issuing objections and notices of revocation for applications that do not meet these requirements. More Information and How To Comply
