Cheikh Anta Diop University --Offering Bilingual MDP Program. The University Cheikh Anta Diop in Senegal will launch its Master's in Development Practice program in the fall 2010 and will be the first bilingual, French-English, program in the global network of MDP programs. More on the UCAD's MDP program can be read in full here.
Virtual Library of MDP Resources Available at a Click. To facilitate and strengthen MDP programs around the world, the core MDP curriculum will be supported by a virtual library where participating teachers and students can access case studies, lesson plans, learning materials, practical tools and educational activities. Practitioners and faculty members at MDP universities can contribute their own materials to this resource center to assist in the development of wide-ranging online curriculum tools that ensure the inclusion of global perspectives.

The beginnings of the virtual repository is presently available at Columbia University's Academic Commons, where one can find syllabi for MDP courses such as Integrated Approaches to Sustainable Development, Global Health, Global Food Systems and Human Ecology. In time, this virtual repository will be a searchable database containing case studies, teaching notes, and other resources used in MDP programs worldwide.
Join the Global Network of MDP Programs. Universities committed to inter-disciplinary, rigorous, and practice-based training in sustainable development are invited to join the global network of MDP programs. Development
Agencies, NGOs and Businesses are also welcome. For more information on joining the global network, please click here.
