      For everyone living East of U.S. Central Time the solstice actually occurs on December 22.   On the East Coast the time will be just after midnight, at 12:31 am.
Technically this solstice event occurs on December 22 at 5:31 am Universal Time.

       A "22" Universal Day is a very fitting ending to 2011 as both numbers reduce to 4.   By activating two 'master' numbers - 11 and 22 - this event forecasts a time of great significance. In fact, the solstice date 12.22.2011 adds up to 11 as well.

       Amazingly the master number 11 is activated AGAIN next year on 12.21.2012, the date of the 2012 Winter Solstice and the end of the Mayan Baktun calendar.

       We are entering an extraordinary time of Double New Beginnings and Endings ... where everything we thought was so, may in fact not be ... where our beliefs will
reawaken, relationships will be renewed and our educational systems will be realigned.

        Endings are signified during any big transition. In this case the Universal Time of the Winter Solstice is 5:31 am, which adds up to 9, the number of culmination and endings.
