Your Zodiac Sign Has Not Changed!
It's surprising how many people are responding so dramatically to the news of a purported 13th zodiac sign! We're all pretty attached to our horoscope sign as it turns out! So fear not - we are all the sign that we think we are. The recent "news" out of Minnesota has not changed our zodiac signs. Here's why: There have been several zodiac systems since the beginning of time. Two that are well known to us are the Chinese zodiac and the Western zodiac. Western astrologers use a zodiac system that goes back thousands of years, through Greek and before that, Roman history. The zodiac used by Western astrologers, including those of us here at Zodiac, is based on the tropical zodiac - which is fixed to the seasons. In the tropical zodiac, the start of Aries is fixed to one equinox, and the start of Libra to the other. It is under this Western zodiac system that we have learned our zodiac signs, and this system remains in tact. So our signs have NOT changed, thank goodness!
