Greetings! 

 

Hello again!  

 

I hope you all did well on your first semester finals!  Your second semester has begun which begins the countdown to your graduation. It's time to start thinking about your plans after school - which hopefully includes becoming a University of Regina student!  

 

We will be visiting students around the country helping them to apply, fill out scholarship application forms and answering any and all questions that you may have.

The application deadline forRealize. Your Future. No logo the Saskatchewan Collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing (SCBSCN) is approaching. This is a four year, direct-entry Nursing degree program.   

 

If you have not already done so, make sure you submit your application by the February 15, 2012 application deadline and submit your transcripts by March 1.

Experience a day in the life of a music student. Sit in o n music cl asses, attend a student recital, have a private le sson with a faculty member, and learn about the application/audition process for Music and Music Education programs at U of R.

  


Visual Arts  Portfolio Review Dates Set: March 9 & March 28
 
Students applying for selection to the BFA Visual Arts Major may make an appointment with the Department of Visual Arts for a portfolio review and intervi  ew beginning February 1st. 2012.

The attached document outlines the process for the review and how to make other arrangements if the dates above or travel to Regina are not possible.
Note: All students interested in Visual Arts should apply to the BA Visual Arts major. Students interested in the BFA for September  entry must make an appointment as noted above and will be advised of their acceptance after the review.

Congratulations to the Hill School of Business
The University of Regina, Hill School of Business placed FIRST Place at the JDC West competition held in Edmonton on
January 13 - 15, 2012. 

JDC West is a case competition in Western Canada that hosts 600 students from 11 of Western Canada's top Business Schools.  Competition includes academic competitions, athletic challenges, a social competition, and an overwhelming demonstration of corporate social responsibility.

The University of Regina Hill School of Business is the only school to place in the Top 3 for 5 years in a row!

Important DeadlinesArticle3

February 15: Nursing application deadline

March 1: Nursing transcript deadline

March 15: Priority application deadline for all direct entry undergraduate programs. The priority deadline is the recommended deadline to ensure best course selection and opportunities for enrolment and other university services such as scholarships, residence and parking.  

Faculty of Education  

The Faculty of Education's application deadline is also March 15, 2012.  Be sure to choose the Teacher Education Application Form when choosing the application form.  If you want to find out more about the Faculty of Education and direct-entry programs visit:  http://education.uregina.ca/

May 1: Deadline to apply for residence for a guaranteed room

August 1: Final deadline for all programs (excluding Education and Nursing). If a program still has space available, it may be extended bey
