Happy autumn! The leaves are changing colour, the wind is picking up, and carrying with it representatives from the U of R and our federated colleges all over the Canadian prairies.

 
Whether you're in Assiniboia or Yorkton, Calgary, Winnipeg or dozens of other towns, there's a good chance we're gonna be somewhere nearby this fall. We're looking forward to visiting schools, colleges and career fairs, and meeting future students like you!

Realize. Your Future. No logoDr. Doyle Anderson - The 9th President of First Nations University of Canada

 

On Friday, October 14th the First Nations University of Canada hosted the Installation of their 9th President, Dr. Doyle Anderson.  In attendance was National Chief Shawn A-in-chut Atleo, Dr. Vianne Timmons, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Regina, and many other Chiefs and representatives from the Board of Governors and Red Pheasant Cree Nation to welcome Dr. Doyle Anderson.   

 

Dr. Anderson has completed a doctorate degree in interdisciplinary studies with a dual emphasis in First Nations Business Management and Organizational Analysis at the University of Saskatchewan.  Dr. Anderson has an extraordinary career background and commitment to education and is a great asset to this institution.  

 

We are happy to welcome Dr. Doyle Anderson as the newest President to the First Nations University of Canada!

We are pleased to extend a joint invitation to every High School in the Province to send their Grade 12 students to participate in "What Is Engineering?".  The purpose of this unique event is to provide information on the Engineering profession as well as on the two Colleges of Engineering.

UR Connected! 2011

The University of Regina hosted our annual UR Connected 2011 event on October 21 and 22nd!  We saw hundreds of students, parents and counsellors over the two day event.  

 

We just wanted to give a big shout out and thank you to everyone to attended this event!  The day was packed full of tours, sessions, giveaways and fun activities!  We hope everyone had a blast!

That's right folks!  Our brand new online application has launched! 

You can apply for regular admission, as well as Nursing online now.  Visit this website to access our application forms:

Applying online is a quick and easy way to become a U of R student!  The program allows students to track their documents and their admission status.  

The Faculty of Nursing has created an online application form as well.  The Faculty of Education's new online application form will be available in the next few weeks - keep checking the website!


We are busy recruiting across Canada and hosting numerous events for students.  Keep checking the website for the latest news! 

This weekend the U of R is celebrating it's 100th birthday!  Happy Homecoming University of Regina!  Come check out all of the great events we are hosting on campus.
