Don't be surprised if we are closed early some days during this summer.  With so little sun so far this year, we are planning to occasionally duck out to play when we see that sun. 

 

DON'T MISS US!  If the sun is shining, plan to shop before 2 p.m. Or you can call the store to make sure we are here.

   Case in point:  We decided to take the plunge and have a booth at Discover Burien's Father's Day Classic Car Show.  With spot-on coaching from Debra George, who coordinates this event (and others) for our city, our first effort at having a booth at a community event was, in our mind, a grand success.  

  We had three give-aways:  license plate covers, spiral notebooks and massagers (for when you want to finish that book but your body gives out!).  We also had a 6' banner showing off our logo.

   Our SPECTACULAR contest received lots of attention.  Imagine winning FREE BOOKS FOR A YEAR!

    Thank you to all who stopped by our booth.  Despite the rain, clouds and general dreariness, we had a big turnout and a great time.  We'll be there again next year, and hopefully, so will you!
