From the Director's Desk
The holiday events kick off tonight with the Chamber Mixer at the Ranch House Grille. This is always a well attended event. Phil and Mary Jane Cline are the perfect hosts, always treating us to a wonderful time. Please join us tonight for this annual gathering.
The Chamber's Annual Holiday Home Tours is our fundraiser for the CCC's Chamber Scholarship. Local CCC students are awarded $1000. Get your $10 tickets now and support our local students.
The Parade of Lights is on the 17th. We are ending the parade at the City Park for a Tree Lighting Ceremony, Santa Claus, Christmas Caroling, and more...
Do you go all out decorating outdoors for the holidays? Call or email your address to enter the "Hometown Holiday Outdoor Decorating Contest". Page, Greenhaven, LeChee, and Big Water homes and businesses are encouraged to enter. Our secret Elves will be judging the best decorated yards/outdoor areas on the 16th. Entries are due by Dec. 12th. Winners will be announced at the Tree Lighting Ceremony on Dec. 17th following the Parade of Lights. Join us this holiday season and start a new tradition in the Lake Powell area.
Ballots for our new Board of Directors will be sent out tomorrow. You have until the 10th to vote. We appreciate the members who are running this year.
Happy Holidays!

Silver Angel Program!!!
You can help make the Christmas wishes of Page area Senior Citizens come true by joining the Powell Museum's Silver Angel Program. The Museum Christmas Tree is decorated with silver angels which represent local elderly who may be alone or in need for the holidays. The Page Community Center has provided a list of these names and each angel has a corresponding number and wish. Wishes may include things like books, robes, blankets, or other smaller items. No perishable food will be accepted. Return the wrapped gift along with the angel to the Museum and it will be delivered right before the holidays to the deserving Page senior citizen. The Angel Tree will be available starting Friday Nov. 4th. | |
